NiaTero is a place where you share your “green” experiences with others... post hard to find information and real-life results... provide feedback on “green” products, companies/suppliers, articles, ideas ... post your stories on what you’ve done, how you did it, how it is working for you.
You’ll find stories from people who own hybrids, who have done “green” home improvement projects, who lobby for “green” laws, who lead or participate in “green” community projects (hey, how about just cleaning up the litter and trash from our ponds, lakes, river and beaches?!), who do “green” art, and more.
NiaTero is the place to connect with like-minded individuals in your community, to share ideas and info, and to get involved (like cleaning up those beaches!)
We are all parents, here at NiaTero. We want to teach our kids about community service and care of the environment as well. You'll find a Kids’ page where kids can submit their own “green” projects from school or home, and tell us all how they did it and how it all turned out. You'll find “Moms connect” page with discussions on topics such as getting schools on board with recycling, going green, etc. ... how to teach kids about environment...what works?. Here we can share our ideas, our problems, our experiences as moms doing our best to “go green” even in the suburbs, in “Generica”. Moms, dads, grandparents, how can we teach our kids to respect and care for the resources we have? (Lest we all forget the lessons of the Lorax!;-)
NiaTero is a “grassroots” movement. We are not a big company, we are a small group of moms and dads who care about our environment, our country and most of all our kids. Part of our responsibility at NiaTero as parents and citizens will be to follow the Obama-Biden administration closely and keep involved and up-to-date with their New Energy for America plan. More to come on this!
