Topic: Kin Theory Strategist Michelle Hurtubise will be presenting her paper “Can narrative sovereignty lead to recognition of and support for distinct Indigenous national cinemas?” at the annual conference hosted by the FSAC/ACÉC Film Studies Association of Canada. The ideas in this paper weave Hurtubise’s research with the vibrant conversations held during the virtual Kin Theory events held throughout 2021. This event will be online.
