Details: The United Nations Voluntary Fund (UNVF), the Indigenous Peoples’ Documentation, Research, and Information Centre (Docip), and Nia Tero invite you to attend the first training session of a year-long series focused on strengthening the capacities and knowledge of Indigenous Peoples and organizations across the seven socio-cultural regions.
This first session will explore the UN Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (EMRIP), aiming to provide practical tools for understanding and effectively using global mechanisms.
Speakers will include Carmen Rosa Guerra Ariza of Nia Tero, Morse Caoagas Flores of the UNVF and Kayla Ross of the EMRIP Secretariat.
