The film, which is in competition for the Best Short Documentary Award, explores the cultural identity and close connection to the land and water shared by the Rapa Nui People. It is part of a series of films created by the Wayfinders Circle in a co-production with Nia Tero, Pawanka Fund, the World Union of Indigenous Spiritual Practitioners) and the Rapa Nui People.

At COP 16, leaders and decision-makers will gather to advance discussions on the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF) and how to ensure that 30% of lands and oceans are protected by 2030. The COP 16 "Promise" campaign highlights the importance of recognizing Indigenous Peoples' guardianship to achieve biodiversity conservation targets.

Directed by Martín Kingman in close collaboration with community members, "Inia Ikiampri" portrays the Achuar people's daily lives. It follows members of the Kapawi community in Achuar Territory in the Ecuadorian Amazon Basin, exploring themes of land, language, and culture at the intersection of tradition and modernity.
