Date & Time: Thursday, July 20, 2023 – 10 – 11AM PT/ 1 – 2 PM ET
Guest: Molly Murphy of Working Films
During our July Office Hours session, hear from Molly Murphy, Director of Partnerships and Innovation at Working Films, about the work the organization is doing this year and key tips for effective and authentic impact campaigns that help you connect with your core audiences and inspire thought and action.
Working Films brings the worlds of documentary filmmaking and social justice together. They connect changemakers with the right films at the right moment to amplify their efforts and meaningfully involve audiences when “the lights come up.” They support underrepresented artists with funding, training, and technical assistance, and we partner with and train organizers in how to best use film in their campaigns and efforts for long term change. Molly represents Working Films as part of the Documentary Accountability Working Group.
This conversation is FREE, VIRTUAL, and OPEN to Kin Theory members and friends up to do the work of opening up and strengthening the film and TV industry. The meet-ups happen on the third Thursday of each month at 10am PT / 1pm ET. Reserve your spot to get the Zoom link for the hangout! We can’t wait to see you!
